Our grilled broccoli, grilled avocado, and grilled pineapple (because who can get enough?) would all make for delicious pairings. We love serving these skewers alongside a plate of steaming white rice, but your options don’t stop there. Thread the chicken onto the skewers and grill on both sides until the chicken is done in the middle, 2 to 3 minutes per side. Skewers should be easy and completely versatile-make these your own! Swap out the chicken for tofu for a vegetarian skewer, or replace the bell peppers, onion, and pineapple with whatever you're craving. Step 2 In a large bowl, whisk together barbecue sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, oil, garlic, ginger and honey until completely combined. Just like most of our skewer recipes, you can really get creative with these. Step 1 Preheat grill or grill pan on medium heat. Cook the kabobs, about 3-4 minutes per side or until fully cooked. After it’s done marinating, insert chicken into the stainless steel skewers (or the pre-soaked bamboo skewers). If you’re looking for extra-flavorful chicken, feel free to marinate your chicken breasts beforehand. Marinate for, at most, 2-3 hours in the fridge.
